From Thursday, September 28th through Sunday, October 1st, Matt Selznick will be in Ontario, California for the second annual Podcast & Portable Media Expo at the Ontario Convention Center. The exhibition hall, keynote addresses, and many after-hours events are free to registrants, so if you’re in Southern California and have an interest in new media, please consider attending!
Matt will be acting as a shameless walking billboard for things he believes in… look for the guy in the “Brave Men Run,” Podcast Guild, or IODA tee-shirt! Matt will also have paperback copies of the popular podcast novel “Brave Men Run – A Novel of the Sovereign Era” available for purchase.
He’ll blog on the event at Scribtotum both during and after the weekend is over.
Catch an interview with Matt Selznick on Maggie Bonham’s “The Sci Fi Traveling Road Show,” a podcast dedicated to science fiction, fantasy, and horror coming from small press. Matt and Maggie talk about “Brave Men Run – A Novel of the Sovereign Era,” publishing books in multiple formats, the merits of podiobook marketing, the DIY approach, print on demand and self-publishing vs. “traditional” publishing, the intimacy of podcasting, and more!
