Sophomoric Saturday

In between vacuuming, I watched “The Ladies Man,” “Saving Silverman,” and “Zoolander” on Comedy Central today. Good stupid fun. That Will Ferrell is in everything, isn’t he???

I’m almost over the cold I got at WorldCon.

In Atlanta, as I write this, I’m pretty sure the Parsec Awards are over. Did I win? Don’t know!!!!

You make it sound like vacuuming was nothing special and just part of your normal Saturday. From My perspective vacuuming is an absolute horror. On Saturday morning I almost got killed by a hoover:

You humans should just watch those movies and pay more attention to animal rights.

  2. Apologies for not calling you from ATlanta, Matthew. I figured if I did you would have thought I was calling to congratulate you. :( As you most likely know by now, Patrick McLean won for How to Succeed in Evil. I was rooting for you, and I had set it up so if you had won I would have called you and given the phone to Mur so you could accept by speakerphone. Well, next year you will be there to accept for your next podcast novel… maybe I will as well!

    PG!

That would have been a blast, doing the accept via speakerphone. Had I known the Wingin’ It broadcast was going to be so hilarious, I would have called that in, too!

Next year, I’m there for sure.
