Podiobooks.com Receives New York Times Treatment!

Podiobooks.com, the site on which the podcast version of my first book, “Brave Men Run – A Novel of the Sovereign Era” is distributed, has a very nice mention in the March 1st edition of the New York Times (registration may be required to view the link — try it!)

The article focuses on my colleague Scott Sigler, who is far and away the most popular podiobook author thus far. All of Scott’s books are available on Podiobooks.com, and much of the article turns the spotlight on the site, giving gigantic shot-in-the-arm promotional juice to authors J.C Hutchins, Tee Morris, and Mark Jeffery as well as the site as a whole.

This is great news and a huge credibility boost to podcasting and independent publishing, and I couldn’t be happier.

In the interest of disclosure, for those who don’t know, I’ve been on the volunteer staff at Podiobooks.com since November of 2006 — I’m the title manager, the guy who uploads updates and new titles every week.
