200,000 in 2008

I wrote today. 426 words of manuscript, plus sundry pre-writing.

It’s been a while. December was mostly a wash, I’m afraid.

I have a goal for 2008, though. Not to finish any particular work… although I will finish and release “Pilgrimage.” No, really.

The goal: 200,000 words in 2008.

That’s really just a little less than 550 words a day on average. Shouldn’t be that hard. There are good days when I can pound out three, four, five times that. Which is fortunate, as they will make up for the days I do much less, or nothing at all.

200,000 in 2008. Who’s with me?
