Los Angeles Systems Engineer

Dig it — the day job (not the Cursed Day Job; that was my last one. This is the Rockin’ Day Job) is looking for a Systems Engineer here at our Los Angeles-area office.

As you know, Bob, I work for Mahalo.com, the human-powered Internet search engine the users love and the too-cool-to-dance-at-the-gig haters love to provide links to. We’re growing not just by leaps, but by bounds, too, and we’re on track to increase our traffic by an order of magnitude.

So we’re looking for someone with massive amounts of fu and a bag of holding’s worth of mad skillz with HTTP, HTTPS, Unicast and Multicast socket programming, Unix shell scripting, MySQL, massively scalable architectures, and a bunch of other stuff I personally know nothing about but depend upon completely every day.

Dig my boss’s blog post for full details:
Systems Enginner, Los Angeles

Be sure to tell ‘em Matt sent you when you send in your resume… it’s worth a little something-something to me, and maybe if everything goes well we’ll be having creamy chicken side-by-side at Mahalo before long!
