Shopping Cart FIXED — Chapbooks and E-books Can Be Ordered Again!

I’m happy to report that the issues with the shopping cart plug-in have been resolved and I’m accepting orders for the e-book and limited edition chapbook editions of both “Reggie vs. Kaiju Storm Chimera Wolf” and the brand new short story, “Cloak.” If you’ve ordered in the last day or so, please try again — your previous order has been canceled and any funds transferred have been refunded.

Thanks and Kudos

Firstly, thanks to Jason, Stephen and Nick for pointing out the irregularities in the first place. Jason also had some great feedback in general. It’s fantastic when folks point out mistakes and stop-errors, especially when most people will just continue on without saying anything. Believe me, I’d rather know when something is wrong so I can fix it as fast as possible.

And speaking of fixing as fast as possible… highest praise and mega-thanks and EPIC SUCCEED to Jason R. Briggs, the developer of the free WordPress plugin, YAK, which drives the shopping cart on my site. Despite a big time zone difference between where Jason is and where I am, he responded to my desperate inquiry within hours… with a quick and dirty fix that did the trick. He was also receptive to my suggestions regarding the plugin and quick to answer some questions I wasn’t crystal clear on.

Jason provides YAK for free and charges for a PDF of the documentation, which is a great model and a wonderful way to support his work. I purchased the manual, but that doesn’t mean I expected such an efficient, direct and timely response to my problem… that’s above and beyond support that deserves mention. So I’m mentioning it.

If you have a WordPress website, use Yak for your shopping cart and support Jason Briggs by purchasing the manual. It’s worth every penny.

Now Get Back To Buying My Stuff!

With my everlasting gratitude, you can be sure.

Thanks for your patience, everyone!
