Sonitotum Bonus: Interview On The Secret Lair Podcast

I was thinking about what to have for dinner a few nights back when Chris Miller pinged me on Skype — would I like to be a guest on the Secret Lair podcast, like, right now?

I grabbed a beer, headed into my office, switched on the microphone and joined Chris, co-host Kris Johnson and fellow guest Thomas “Cmdln” Gideon for a great discussion on “Free,” neo-patronage and the state of podcast fiction. This was a few days before I wrote my blog post on the subject, and spending time with these gentlemen really helped focus my thoughts.

Now you can listen to our meeting of the minds! And heck, don’t stop there — be sure to subscribe to The Secret Lair in iTunes or the podcast client of your choice!

Thanks, Matt! I would have missed ALL the news if I hadn’t been subscribed to the Sonitotum podcast.
    Whew!
Chris made an excellent “call” – you spoke well and persuasively with no notice. I enjoyed the discussion.
I looked for more about Flatter, if that’s the spelling, but do not see anything after a couple of searches. Its time has come, if I understand correctly, so I’ll stay on the lookout.

      Hello Gail!

There are detailed show notes (including the link to flattr) on the Secret Lair web site. Please do sign up for the beta! The more who are accepted in that first group who are savvy to the idea of neo-patronage, the better splash creators and consumers alike can make right out of the gate!

I’m glad you enjoyed the call… it’s easy to me to speak persuasively on this particular topic, since I’ve been preaching it to whoever will listen for five years and more..!
