Where’ve I Been?

Distracted. Single-minded on all the wrong things. Sluggish. Grumpy. Slow.
I’ve been sleeping hard. Staying up too late.
Soon, I’ll post something worthwhile. I’ll come back… to this blog, to LOTO, to all that good stuff.
It’s a lull. A dip in the road has peaks on either side. I’d like to get on a nice stretch of highway that’s flat and long, like the cover of the soundtrack to “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” The original — not that piece of crap re-edit with the big boat in the desert.

Everybody needs a break, you have just got to find a way to return back from the brink unscathed. Think of your yourself as Bobba Fett in the belly of Jabba’s monster in the beginning of the sixth Star Wars.

I see that I am not alone in the rut of life. Is it the hot weather? I could use that as an excuse…I think I shall use it as a reason.
I’ve been staying up late into the wee hours of the morn’ then sleeping into the last hour of the morn’. Not my normal routine and it is beginning to get on my nerves so I’ve decided today that I will go to bed at 11PM and see how that goes. I’ll probably be up for good way before I want to be. Are the planets in a strange position? I must find a way out of this being my own fault. ;)
I blame any break in my productivity as being the direct result of either evil monkeys or aliens. I heard recently that Bush and the British royal family are a reptilian species bent on controlling the world. Even if GWBII is not an alien, I am convinced that he has some mysterious monkey-thing going on there…
Or was that just another stupid distraction? :O Stupid Monkeys! Time to kick some monkey askii!
