Thanks to an inspiring, firm, graciously delivered and entirely solicited ass-kicking from a very dear friend, I got my butt in the chair tonight and wrote 1,441 words of “Pilgrimage.”
Now, I gotta get up in five hours so I can hit it again. And again. But before I try to sleep, I wanted to share.
You were right, Mur. It felt awesome.

All right! You’re my inspiration to finish my contribution to a paper my team is presenting at an upcoming users’ conference. It’s not the same as writing awesome fiction, but it is what I’ve got to do.

Glad to hear it. I’ve been putting my own butt in the chair a whole lot more lately, and I don’t know what took me so long. The more I do it, the easier it gets. Keep up the momentum!
