Back in 2005, my book “Brave Men Run — A Novel of the Sovereign Era” was the first novel with an initial simultaneous release in DRM-free e-book, free podcast, and paperback book editions.
That first paperback edition was printed on demand by Lulu.com. Lots of folks were nice enough to purchase it… and when the time came to purchase the Swarm Press edition that came out on July 13, 2008, some of those folks bought that edition, as well!
For these people who are so amazing as to spend their money on BMR twice, I’m holding a special giveaway in partnership with Swarm Press.
If you own both the Lulu and Swarm editions of “Brave Men Run — A Novel of the Sovereign Era,” simply send me a picture of yourself holding both books. I’ll post the pictures here — and on October 1st, 2008, I’ll select three lucky winners.

Update: I’ve seen it circulated on several blogs and news aggregation sites that this is a contest. It’s not. It’s a giveaway in which only people who already purchased the original version of “Brave Men Run” can participate… because that original, Lulu.com edition is out of print and no longer available! This isn’t something that just anyone can take part in… it’s meant as a reward for those people who have both versions of the book and incentive for folks who have the original version to purchase the Swarm Press edition of “Brave Men Run — A Novel of the Sovereign Era”.
