Mahalo Designer Wanted
Hey folks — my day job, Mahalo.com, is seeking a full-time, in-house web and graphic designer to help define the look and feel of many of the upcoming enhancements to the site.
Mahalo.com, you may know, is a human-powered social search service. This is not a bootstrapped start-up — we’re backed by Sequoia Capital, Newscorp, CBS, Mark Cuban, and one of the founders of PayPal. We’re based in Santa Monica.
To be an appropriate applicant, you must understand Web 2.0 — Facebook, Twitter, etc. You get user interface design for the web. You have an understanding of innovations coming out of markets other than the United States. Naturally, you need to be an amazing artist who can blow us away with clean, lightweight, innovative designs. Check this out for an idea of the aesthetic we’re shooting for.
