First Spaulding Gray, now Dave Blood — both apparent suicides. I don’t get it.
“Big Lizard In My Backyard,” the Milkmen’s first album, and especially Blood’s bass playing, was an affirmation and inspiration to me. Funny, critical, tight, loose, this album was as much a parody of punk rock as it was a sloppy kiss.
This is getting me down.
