I welcome you to create stories, art, music, videos, and other content based on my works — like “Brave Men Run” and “Pilgrimage” — set in the Sovereign Era. There are some rules:

• As it says in the Terms of Use:
  • User-created content in any media, derived from or inspired by the creative works of Matthew Wayne Selznick, is prohibited except as specifically permitted by Matthew Wayne Selznick. The user acknowledges that any content in any media derived from or inspired by the creative works of Matthew Wayne Selznick is the property of Matthew Wayne Selznick, and the user relinquishes all rights to such content.
  • It's very important you understand this. In fact, by posting content derived from or inspired by my creative works, you acknowledge your understanding.
• This site — specifically, this forum — is the only place it's okay to post any content based on or derived from my Sovereign Era setting, situations, and characters without my explicit permission. In other words, you may not post or otherwise distribute any derivative works anywhere else. Keep it in the sandbox unless I tell you specifically that it's okay to put it somewhere else.
• I will always give attribution for anything you make. That means, at the very least, your name or nickname, a link back to your site, information on how people can purchase your other, non-derivative work, and so on. Think of playing in the Sovereign Sandbox as a way to promote yourself, with my thanks.

Help Establish The Canon!

The Sovereign Era contains much more than the events portrayed in “Brave Men Run - A Novel of the Sovereign Era,” “Pilgrimage,” or anything else I could ever write. It's a whole Era, after all!

Your content might be designated “canon” if it fits particularly well with my vision of the Sovereign Era. This means your contributions could actual help shape the milieu, and be part of future official Sovereign Era material!
