House Concerts

I’ve played scores of gigs as a solo musician in coffeehouses, clubs and bars. The best shows were the ones where a real connection happened between me and the audience — when we connected on a level of intimacy that broke the invisible wall between performer and listener. This usually happens when the audience is small, comfortable and feels as if they’re among friends.

So why not literally be among friends as much as possible? Sounds good to me!

The Best Seats For The Concert Are In Your Living Room

I am available for intimate, up-close-and-personal concerts in your home. Here’s what you get:

  • Two forty-five minute sets of music at your house; about twenty five songs, total. Mostly originals with a handful of covers.
  • High quality MP3 recordings of all the original music performed during the gig for you and your guests (e-mail addresses required)

Rates and Details

If you’re within 100 miles of zip code 92345 (Catalina Island not included), $150.00 books me to perform a house concert at your place. I’ll bring a PA system, my guitar, and be ready to perform at least twenty five songs from my catalog of hundreds of originals and covers. I’ll record the whole shebang and, after the event, deliver high-quality MP3s of every original song performed to you and every guest that gives me an e-mail address and the permission to contact them about other creative stuff I do.

If you’re outside the 100-mile range, I’m still absolutely available to do a house concert for additional compensation to cover travel and possibly lodging and food. Contact me and we can figure it out!

The Virtual Option

Is your real living room too far away? No problem! If you’re outside of the hundred mile radius, we can do a virtual concert — I’ll be in my living room; you and up to twenty guests will be in a shared video chat channel. You’ll be able to see and hear me; you and all the guests will be able to interact in an accompanying text chat room. As with the “real world” concert, you and all guests who provide an e-mail address and the permission to contact them about other creative stuff I do will receive high-quality MP3s of every original song I perform during the show. The virtual option is $150.00 and is available to anyone outside of 100 mile radius.
