I’m pleased to announce I’m leading a workshop, “Social Media For Writers: Build a Worldwide Audience For Your Work,” at The Writers’ Gallery in Yucaipa, California on Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
I’ll be sharing the social media techniques I helped pioneer to find readers, build a community of fans and utilize free content to drive sales with or without a publisher.
Space is limited to around ten participants and sessions at The Writers’ Gallery often sell out, so if you’re in Southern California and you’re interested in attending, reserve a spot by contacting 909-953-9493 or writersgallery@yahoo.com. It’s $20.00 for members of The Writers’ Gallery; $40.00 for non-members.
Download a printable flier for the event.
If you’re not in Southern California or you’re not able to attend but you’re interested in having me speak at your event about writing, new media, social media or marketing for creative people, please contact me directly.

Wish I lived closer. It sounds like it’ll be an awesome workshop. Maybe you could create a virtual workshop for those of us who live across the continet.
A few people have expressed an interest — if the host doesn’t want to (or can’t) go for it, perhaps I’ll create a (never thought I’d use this term) webinar.
