When I heard that Nikol's tooth troubles were still going on and that lack of insurance was going to draw things out even longer, it seemed like a no-brainer to turn to the community. To me, the idea of supporting an artist in practical matters like a medical issue <em>as well as</em> supporting their art is simply another aspect of neo-patronage. I know I'm in the minority when it comes to that world-view, and that it's perhaps an idealistic one at that. I don't care!
