My fiction often features fantastic elements, and while I am a fan of science fiction, fantasy, detective fiction, horror, and so-called literary fiction, I’m not too keen on genre restrictions. A lifetime of enjoying the shared milieus of comic books and the influence of Michael Moorcock, Stephen King, and others has led to an approach to my work that is more focused on a common setting.
