March 2025 Creative Endeavors Income Reporting

March 2025 by the Numbers

Every month, I share revenue and expenses directly related to my creative endeavors. This doesn’t include my work as a creative services provider working for authors, podcasters, and others, which is the majority of my monthly income (the “day job”).

I share this because you’re either a patron Multiversalist, or you’re a free Multiversalist and I’d like you to become a patron… and it’s only fair you see how your membership (or future membership) offsets expenses and helps supplement and, eventually, replace, my other revenue streams.

Creative Revenue

  • Multiversalist patron member dues (net): $8.89, unchanged from February.
  • Book and music royalties (net): $2.11, just 2% of February’s $108.36.  Royalty sources broke down like this:
    • Amazon: 84%
    • Draft2Digital: 16%

TOTAL REVENUE: $11.00, (9.4% of February’s $117.25; just 30% of creative revenue in March of 2024).

Creative Expenses

$149.42 in expenses related directly to my creative endeavors in March, including several domain name registrations, a script that was supposed to help me install an self-hosted e-mail service (didn’t work), and the usual monthly hosting and related expenses.

$149.42 is about 23% less than February’s $193.16, and 16% less than the $609.11 spent in March of 2024… but I didn’t include the annual fee for Zoom this time around, since I’m not using it for podcast interviews, only (mostly) for my creative services business, which doesn’t get included with my expenses as a creator, and I had fewer domain name registrations and website hosting fees this year.

Difference:

-138.42

Compared to March 2024: +$430.34, or, a 410% improvement.  -$568.76

2025 Cumulative

-208.37
