Scribtotum
Scribtotum
scrihb-tote-um (Noun): A portmanteau combining the words “scribe” (writer) and “totum” (roughly Latin for “the whole thing”). Borrowed / adapted from the word “factotum” (one who does all kinds of work) to mean “one who writes on a variety of subjects.”
I strive to offer my experiences as an independent creator from the perspective of a veteran beginner. As I like to say, it’s not my first rodeo, but the horses and bulls… and the clowns… keep changing!
So, whenever I can teach or share, I write an article for this blog, Scribtotum.

- Got my hands on "Tricks of the Podcasting Masters" by Rob Walch and Mur Lafferty today. I spoke to Mur while she was researching the book some time ago, and today was pleased to discover about two pages dedicated to the Brave Men Run podcast edition, MWS Media, and my thoughts on the DIY aspects…
- I just discovered that the podcast edition of my first book, "Brave Men Run - A Novel of the Sovereign Era," has been nominated for a Parsec Award in the Best Speculative Fiction Story (Long Form) category!
- I drove down to my mother's today to help her with some computer stuff and some errands. It's a hundred mile trip, so I stopped about three quarters of the way in San Clemente.

- That's my state of mind right now, and it's reallly, seriously, pardon the f-bomb, fucking frustrating to the point of rage.
